D-MOLD PRIMARY USES
PRIMARY USES
- BNA D Mold is specially designed for the protection of cement substrates against chloride laden water ingress, microbal growth and attacks from white ants
- Prevents efflorescence in plaster due to the unburnt salt presence in lime , cement,brick, and sand
- Prevents blisters in cement and mortar due to late slaking of lime particles in the plaster which appears as swelling in the form of small patches on the plastered surface
- Prevents popping which is the formation of conical holes in the plastered surface due to the presence of some materials such as seeds dead burnt lime etc which expands on setting.
- Areas of application are as a primer over plaster and concrete in all kinds of building .

Surface preparation
- All concrete/plastic surfaces should be treated to achieve a sound ,clean surface free from laitance,dust or other contaminants
- On existing damaged surface, use a wire brush followed by thorough water washing
- Wash the surface thoroughly using water and strong brush
- Remove all lose particles,lime,black spots,fungus ,mold loose paint etc
Method of application
BNA D Mold is recommended to be applied on plaster by brush ensuring materials goes inside the pores/interstices. Apply in one or more coats ensuring a full coverage of material substrate.

Approximately 5m 2/L in two coats (depends on porosity of the substrate)

Storage
Store in a cool and dark place Avoid direct sunlight and protect from extreme temperatures. High pressure and humidity will reduce the shelf life of this Product. Shelf life in ideal condition is 1 year.
NOTE: Mix the product well before use.No water is to be added to the mixture before applying it to the surface.
